Gryphcon has a long and proud history of bringing gaming to the people of Guelph and the surrounding area. The first convention was in 1988 and the co-creators were GAGA (Guelph Adult Gamers Association) and the University of Guelph Games Club . Over the years the popularity of role-playing games increased and they became the main focus for the convention so the University of Guelph Games Club took over. The Games Club has since expanded the convention to include gaming of all genres. People keep coming back to Gryphcon year after year!

We are hoping to expand the gaming we offer this year. We hope ot have a few more minature gaming events this year. We'd also like to add some video gaming to the mix as well.
