The 忍者 Ninja came silently in the evening. The daimyo’s hanami party was interrupted by the sudden flood of violence. The daimyo, his family, your spouses, your sons, your daughters, and your friends drained of life. Fighting the ninja to a standstill, you survived. Now, seppuku awaits.

However, all lords have overlords. Lord Ryunosuke has commanded you to follow his scout, Yamashita Sho, and to wreak havoc on those who have weakened Lord Ryunosuke’s stance upon the isle of Amaterasu-ōmikami. Like Susanowo, you shall have your revenge upon those who destroy the peace. Onryo is your only pleasure. Giri toward your dead lord and your dead family is your only compass.

Merciless is the death of Samurai. Vibrant, colourful, temporary. Vengeance.

The Daimyo, Lord Tomio of the Mikawa Clan, was a kind ruler who treated all justly and fairly. A Mikawa Samurai is trustworthy. From within the domain of Karatsu in the province of Hizen, the Mikawa Clan reveres beauty and is famed for Arita and Imari Porcelain wares.
Aspects:
None of us is as great as all of us.
All married women are not wives.
Even a thief must learn his trade.
One word can warm the winter.

The Daimyo, Lord Ryunosuke of the Takami Clan, is an ambitious ruler who allied with Lord Tomio by marrying his most beautiful daughter to Lord Tomio. Lord Tomio's child was destined to inherit both domains, Karatsu and Ogi.

It is known that Lord Furukawa Hideaki of Shimabara has sponsored ninja within his domain. Lord Hideaki is a cruel daimyo who cares little for his peasants. Two years ago, the domain of Karatsu battled with the domain of Shimabara for dominance over a trade route through both domains. There is little love lost between them.
Aspects:

First the man takes a drink, then the drink takes a drink, then the drink takes the man.
When preparing for revenge, always dig two graves.
The mountain never falls.
