Co-running + other stuff posted Feb 20 2009 2:40PM by May Sherwood |
Hi All
If there are people co-running in events tell them to sign up for the game and the message me.
Also if you are having any issues with the website please message Dan.
Cool?
There are still a bunch of volunteer overnight slots empty for anyone who wants money off the convention. (Please don't make me have to stay up all night)
Tickets are about 25% sold for the meat banquet tickets. There are only a limited number so you should sign up if you want to go.
I think that is it for now.

Pricing Changes posted Feb 5 2009 10:26PM by Daniel Pawliw |
Due to the existence of math, a mistake in pricing was pointed out. There will be no FLASH/Games discount for day or slot passes, only for the weekend pass. Though it's not really going to cause any problems seeing as most games members seem to be going weekend long anyway since you're all GEEKS.
...
And I mean that in the nicest way possible.
PLEASE NOTE: Lifetime membership to the Games Club was removed last year. If you didn't pay for a membership for Sept '08 to Aug '09, then you're NOT a Games Club member and won't receive a discount.

Cost posted Feb 1 2009 4:26PM by May Sherwood |
Hello
The Price of our little convention is:
Weekend Pass: $25.00
Day Pass: $10.00
Slot Pass: $5.00
If you are a Games or Flash Club member the Weekend Pass is $22.00
*Note that the money off does not work twice if you are in both Clubs
Pre-Registration in the past used to give you money off. This year we are changing that you get a free snack voucher when you pre-reg. Also the guarantee that you get to play in the games you want. Comments (3) |

Good news boys and girls, the Gryphcon Site is now COMPLETE!(*) Here's a handy list of things you should log in and do now:
- Check your profile and choose your Convention Pass.
- Add events you plan to run.
- Sign up for any volunteer slots.
- Reserve your banquet ticket.
- Sign up for events you would like to be in.
- Comment on the wide range of idiotic news posts.
- Check out information pages, maybe suggest something actually informative to the coordinator.
- Complain to the webmaster about ANY AND ALL PROBLEMS you encounter on the site (use the Contact Us button and choose "Daniel Pawliw").
That's all I got for tonight folks! I'm sorry this took so long.
(*) Disregard this comment if you are May. There are still a few more internal pages to finish and test.
Cheers,

So you can register, put up a game, sign up for volenteering and the banquet. posted Jan 30 2009 3:50PM by May Sherwood |
If you haven't done so already reister. Put up the games you want to run and volenteer slots you want to have.
Sign up for the Banquet too. Spots are limited but if it fills I can always book more. Give us a better idea of who wants what. Comments (0) |

Former Coordinators to assist in writing the history of Gryphcon so the Cartoon Network won't sue us. posted Jan 26 2009 8:42PM by Andrea McVeigh |
If anyone is interested in writing the history of this convention, please e-mail the coordinator. Presently, I have written the history as I remember it running previous conventions. It has been pointed out to me that there are some similarities between this memory and an episode of a popular cartoon. While I deny these allegations, it would be for everyone's benefit if there were a more accurate history as soon as possible.
Thank you
