Game Description

Note: Reference my other game description in slot 6 (http://gryphcon.org/schedule.php?game=57) for background on the setting and rules on character creation. If you are not in my previous game don't worry, the plot of each game are not reliant on each other, and I doubt everyone from the previous game can fit this into their schedule anyway.

After the events 'Into the Breach' the party set out to begin their lives of wandering the Rift, jumping through portals in hope of finding a mildly hospitable world. After almost a week of desolate wastelands, torrents of chaotic magic, and worlds where the local fauna were more likely to make you into a meal than they were to provide one; the group has finally jaunted through a portal to a nice looking world!

You come through the portal to find yourselves in a regal hallway of a particularly expensive looking structure. The smell of fine cuisine fills the air. Out the window you can see pristine buildings and towers stretching out to the horizon. You see hundreds of people moving about in the streets.

Odd. Some of them look sort of panicked.

Hey, what are those things in the sky?

That's...

..That's a lot of dragons..

Ah dammit.


Player's who are not carrying over a character from the previous game can choose one of three different backgrounds for the character. You can be another wanderer, unlucky enough to come through a Rift portal into the city while it's being razed by dragons. You could be some citizen or adventurer who was residing in the city. You could be a personal guard of the royal family. Alternately you can get creative if you have a specific idea for your character's background.

As with the previous game, I'll have a few pre-gens ready if you don't have your own character. ^^
