Event Description:
MERCS is a near-future, squad-level skirmish game with a strong emphasis on fast play and good tactics. Games consist of two squads of 5 soldiers in powered armor with a variety of special equipment and skills. MERCS uses uniquely-shaped cards for both reference and measurement, and combined with an initiative/reaction system, creates a very fast and flexible game.
Demos are 45-60 minutes, and can accommodate 2–10 players. We'll be playing various scenarios and will scale them up depending on the number of players interested.
Rules will be taught and all models and 3D terrain provided; just show up and play!
