Welcome to Gryphcon 2002!

Well, Gryphcon 2002 is just under a week away, and this years conventions promises to be a good one. Our vendor area is bigger than ever before and we have gotten some great support from the various gaming companies. Our guest speaker at the banquet this year is local Mark Mckinnon. As president of Guardians of Order, he has created a successful gaming company right here in Guelph.

Guardians Of Order will be on hand throughout the weekend to answer your questions and provide demos of their games. Be sure to stop by and say hello. Also in attendance this year, FlipQuest games will be demonstrating their new game and Steve Jackson Games will have a table on Sunday to demonstrate the new Car Wars.

Entrance to the convention this year is $20 for the weekend preregistration, $25 for the weekend at the door. Individual days are $15 for Saturday and $10 for Sunday. Tickets for the banquet are $20 or $35 for two. There are a limited number, so to be sure that you get one, pre-register and state that you want a ticket to the banquet.

A new feature this year at Gryphcon will be the charity raffle. We will be selling raffle tickets throughout the convention with winners announced at 6:15pm on Sunday. Prizes include banquet tickets and Gryphcon T-shirts with all proceeds going to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
